8th grade DLC reflection

Are they dangerous to the animals in the ocean?
When the oil spill is done, will the ocean animal's population be able to go back up to what it was before?
Are there more pros than cons with using chemical dispersants, or more cons than pros?

  1. To answer your second question, I would like to say that, yes, the ocean animals population will be able to increase once this is all over. It will take a lot of time and patience, but it will. It may take years for the chemical agents to be digested by the bacteria, but at that point the habitats can start to be restored. In order for the animals to have the same population as before, we would need to set up a reserve and put all the fish and wildlife there until the matter is taken care of.
